Step 2: Trigger Calm-Confidence, When Ever You Need It
In your relaxation course, you learned the InstaCalm Relaxation Technique. The program included a recording called, “InstaCalm Response”. The purpose of listening to that recording, every day, for several weeks, is to condition the mind to become very relaxed by simply taking a deep breath.
Triggering a feeling of both calmness and confidence, involves taking a deep breath and squeezing your hand at the same time. In practice, you can just take a deep breath and squeeze your hand as you exhale. Then, immediately let your hand relax.
In the Anchoring tutorial, you learned how to connect multiple positive emotions to you “clenched” fist.
